Welcome to my blog! My name is Adaora Kene. I am a simple Igbo girl who enjoys traveling, writing and meeting new people.

So how did I find myself blogging? Let me try to make this story simple. Before I begin, I’ll tell you one thing though about me which is really important and maybe quite obvious: I love God. I think it’s just as simple as that. Okay, back to how I found myself here. In the past, I had opened a lot of blogs and blogged anonymously. I would often share a few things then I would lose interest and abandon it. Many months later, I would realize I wanted desperately to share something and then I would open another blog (obviously because I couldn’t remember the email or password I had used for the previous blog or the ones before that). This kept going on for a while until one day God led me to sit down and think hard about what I wanted to do with my desire to share so much with the world. I thought very deeply and realized that there was only one subject I was honestly passionate about- God. And that’s what has led me finally to doing this blog. I moved from my free blogger platform to have a website of my own. I damned all the fear of failure and negativity from my ever busy mind and I am sitting this one out with God and will be doing this for the long haul. Yay!

I am very interested in social development. There’s a section of my blog for that. It’s titled ”The butterfly project”. There, I will share some of my engagements especially in the area of education.

Finally, I am an extremely shy person but I love to spend a lot of time with my friends and family. I have started a youtube page, and I intend to learn through all of these steps I take in sharing God and a huge part of myself with you. You can follow me on Facebook and Instagram with the name @meetadaora. Stay with me on this journey. Thank you for reading and subscribing to my blog. 🙂 xx
